HARD-ONS [AU] | FEAT. SUPPORT BY GROWNDOWNZ
Australian punk rock legends **The Hard-Ons** return to New Zealand with the powerhouse lineup of **Tim Rogers (You Am I), Blackie, Ray, and Murray** for an unforgettable night of raw, high-energy punk.
This is a stacked lineup celebrating over four decades of punk rock history alongside some of New Zealand's finest underground talent. Whether you've been following The Hard-Ons since the '80s or you're discovering them for the first time, this is one show you won't want to miss.
"The Hard-Ons showed the world that an unassuming rabble of immigrants could make the world's music underground fall in love with them and their stockpile of simply GREAT TUNES" - Rodney Swenson, The Yagoona Tribune
Formed in 1982, The Hard-Ons have become one of Australia's most influential and internationally respected punk bands. Founding members **Blackie** (guitar) and **Ray** (bass) have remained at the heart of the band since day one, helping shape a legacy that has inspired generations of artists around the world. As punk as it gets, they're currently tearing through Europe before bringing their explosive live show across the Tasman.
Since **Tim Rogers** joined the band as vocalist, The Hard-Ons have entered an exciting new chapter. Their first album together, _Sorry Sir... That Riff's Been Taken_, debuted in the **Top 5 of the Australian Albums Chart**, proving the band remains as vital and relevant as ever.
Over four decades, The Hard-Ons have earned admiration from legends including **Dave Grohl**, **Malcolm Young**, and **Jello Biafra**, while influencing countless bands including **You Am I**, **Spiderbait**, **Silverchair**, **Regurgitator**, **Magic Dirt**, **Dirty Three**, and \*\*The Chats>
The band is also celebrating the release of the acclaimed documentary **Harder & Harder**, currently screening in cinemas, alongside the upcoming Blu-ray release of _The Most Australian Band Ever!_, cementing their status as one of Australia's most enduring and beloved punk institutions.
**GROWN DOWNZ (Tauranga)**
Self-described as "Punk & Roll," sibling duo Joel and Ellie Burgin have been causing beautifully loud chaos since 2017. Armed with fuzz-drenched riffs, relentless energy, and infectious hooks, they've shared stages with **Eagles of Death Metal**, **Cosmic Psychos**, **King Brothers**, **Sticky Filth**, and \*\*Mini Skirt>. With three EPs, a full-length album, and a reputation for wild live performances, GROWN DOWNZ are one of New Zealand's most entertaining punk acts.
**FIRESHARK (Auckland)**
Delivering fast, melodic skate and surf punk since 2013, Fireshark combine classic Southern California influences with high-energy performances that never let up. Having shared stages with **Lagwagon**, **Pennywise**, and **Strung Out**, they're guaranteed to keep the pit moving from start to finish.
**CCTV (Tāmaki Makaurau)**
A five-piece post-punk outfit on the cusp of releasing their debut album _Empire_, CCTV continue to build momentum following last year's acclaimed EP _Austerity Blues_. Expect driving rhythms, atmospheric guitars, and sharp post-punk intensity.
